Der gesellschaftliche Status Quo mit seinen vorgegebenen Strukturen, wie auch Dynamiken zwischen Kollektiv und Individuen, bilden den Ausgangspunkt der Werkgruppe Eva-05, bei der die Medien Fotografie und Video installativ zusammengeführt werden. Ein Block aus einer Gruppe von Monitoren lässt auf den Bildschirmen die Aufnahmen einzelner Personen flimmern – die jeweils isoliert – zum stillen Verharren in seltsamen Posen gezwungen sind. Den anonymen Figuren sind reduzierte, metaphorisch aufgeladene Bilder aus dem urbanen Raum gegenübergestellt. Beide Werkstränge entziehen sich narrativen Ansätzen und führen stattdessen in ein mehrschichtiges Gefüge aus Ahnungen, Symbolen und Zeichen.
The social status quo with its predetermined structures, as well as the dynamics between collective and individual, form the starting point of the work group Eva-05, in which the media of photography and video are combined in an installation. A block from a group of monitors makes the images of individual people flicker on the screens – each of them isolated – forced to remain still in strange poses. The anonymous figures are juxtaposed with reduced, metaphorically charged images from urban space. Both work strands elude narrative approaches and instead lead into a multi-layered structure of notions, symbols and signs.
