Der Ursprung für jede Art von Jugendkultur ist das Bedürfnis, anders zu sein und aus vorbestimmten Schemata auszubrechen. Der Prozess der Individualisierung ist eine Herausforderung. In der als Buch angelegten Arbeit Eva-04 wird eine Annäherung an das Wesen der japanischen Kultur gesucht, indem verschiedene assoziative Stränge zu einem ebenso komplexen wie atmosphärischen Gesamtbild verwebt werden. Die stringente Konzeption, bestehend aus S/W-Porträts von jugendlichen Modellen, farbigen Stillleben und Stadtlandschaften, wirft auf subtile Weise tiefgreifende Fragen auf und weckt die Sehnsucht nach einem Leben ohne strenges Korsett, Ordnungsprinzipien und Uniformiertheit.

The origin for every kind of youth culture is the need to be different and to break out of predetermined patterns. The process of individualization is a challenge. In the work Eva-04, which is designed as a book, an approach to the essence of Japanese culture is sought by weaving various associative strands into an overall picture that is as complex as it is atmospheric. The stringent concept, consisting of black and white portraits of Adolescent models, colored still lifes and cityscapes, subtly raises profound questions and awakens a longing for a life without strict corsets, principles of order and uniformity.
